Ocasio-Cortez Says Billionaires Like Schultz Should Work Their Way Up     https://www.bloomber...rnd=politics-vp

Billionaires who want to run for president should work their way up, perhaps by starting with city council, Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said in tweet referring to former Starbucks Corp. Chief Executive Officer Howard Schultz.

Exasperated Democrats try to rein in Ocasio-Cortez

Two House Democratic sources compared her use of Twitter to Donald Trump’s. Just as congressional Republicans constantly withhold criticism of the president out of fear he’ll unleash a tweet at them, some Democrats have done the same with Ocasio-Cortez.

“People are afraid of her,” said one senior Democratic aide.   https://www.msn.com/...rtez/ar-BBS6eVv

She’s “going to force some of the members to have to align with or against her,” he said. “In that sense, I would assume that can be irritating to some.”   LOL

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said a society that "allows billionaires to exist" while some Americans live in abject poverty is "immoral."  https://www.business...nt-exist-2019-1

"I'm not saying that Bill Gates or Warren Buffett are immoral, but a system that allows billionaires to exist when there are parts of Alabama where people are still getting ringworm because they don't have access to public health is wrong,"

"Maybe this idea of idealizing this outcome of 'Maybe one day you too can be a billionaire and earn more than millions of families combined' is not an aspirational or good thing,"

No wonder everyone either fears or is irritated by her, she is the obviously clear-thinking politician in Washington and she's young, brash, telegenic and only been there a month.

At first Nancy Pelosi disregarded her and failed to put her on the environment committee, an assignment Ocasio-Cortez wanted most. Then Pelosi heard her Ms. Ocasio-Cortez' now massive political following and ended up assigning her to two of the most important committees in the Congress, financial oversight, which watches banks and all financial institutions (she is from New York), and the all-powerful House Oversight Committee, which oversee EVERYTHING else.

The press should press Bill Gates and Warren Buffett on what they think of her wealth-disparity quote.  They might find they agree with her.

Both Gates and Buffett, through the Gates Foundation (thank you, Melinda Gates, for setting those heads straight) are heavily involved in world-wide health problems.  Maybe they should cast a look homeward to the health problems of Americans deprived of adequate universal health care. And bring along buddies like Bezos and Schultz with them. Nike's Philip Knight has given his biggest education endowment to Oregon Health Services.

With the many billionaires, American Oligarchs, who continue to shirk civic responsibilities and refuse to give, it will soon be time to take.

Q: Will Hillary save the Ruling Class and crush Left-Wing Populism?

A: Nope.

The Dems will nominate a  Left-Wing Populist in 2020.

The war within the party will be fascinating to watch.  Globalist Billionaires vs Populists.

What is your definition of socialism?  Spending for the public purpose is not socialism.  See, for example,

Clear thinking?  I think not.  She has demonstrated that she is one of the most ignorant people in Congress and that says a lot.
