CrossFit DELETES its Instagram and Facebook accounts over privacy concerns and denounces Mark Zuckerberg's social media empire as 'utopian socialists'

In an impassioned Thursday press release, the branded fitness regimen described itself as being a 'contrarian physiological and nutrition prescription for improving fitness and health.'

Their first grievance was that Facebook collected user information and shared that data with government entities.

CrossFit also mentioned Facebook's collaborative efforts in government surveillance - specifically highlighting the PRISM program.

Next, it highlighted that Facebook removes user accounts at the direction of third parties and also operate as a business in its disseminating of user information to governments and businesses.

'Facebook's news feeds are censored and crafted to reflect the political leanings of Facebook's Utopian socialists while remaining vulnerable to misinformation campaigns designed to stir up violence and prejudice,' the release added.   https://www.dailymai...grievances.html

Silicon Valley’s dominant “progressive” ideology is hostile to America’s Declaration of Independence and Constitution

“this is the way the progressive left works. They do not tolerate diversity. They do not tolerate independent thinkers. They do not tolerate anyone who opposes their view.”

“Remember, progressivism is about a very destructive ideology that runs counter the Declaration of Independence. We talk about natural rights. We talk about unalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. They reject this.”

“These people in Silicon Valley, they don’t embrace our history, and they’re not capitalists. Let’s make that abundantly clear. They don’t believe in competition.”  https://www.breitbar...d-constitution/

Facebook massive class-action privacy suit moves to discovery

U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria moved to discovery a class-action damages suit against Facebook by users claiming their privacy was mined through “friends.”

as shareholders arrived in Menlo Park for the May 30 shareholder meeting, “Fire Zuckerberg” was projected on a nearby wall of the Hotel Nia and a plane overhead was pulling a banner demanding: “Break up Facebook, Save Silicon Valley.”

Facebook’s stock was not impacted when the company announced it expects the FTC to issue fines of up to $5 billion and get the company to agree to enhanced compliance for violating the 2011 settlement over its privacy practices.

But allowing plaintiff discovery that unveils how Facebook’s top-secret algorithm trolls user data and the extent that the company mines and monetizes its ecosphere, may significantly diminish Facebook’s reputational value and curb its future earnings growth.  https://www.american...discovery_.html
