consolidations serve to confuse

all i know is my account is up daily so, i worry (bulls climb a wall of worry) but i am in to do some light buying . my work shows choppy , but a breakout imminent  if bears take control i bail.  otherwise i ride.  not going to let the market drive me nuts

by the way senors jumping on wdoff when it hit the skids turned into a big winner in a short time. kudos

the patterns on the miners look really good to me. i am waiting on platinum and silver to take over as lead dogs. for that inflation has to show its hand. crude oil et al need to support the pm case.

i see big money coming into the mining space. i see silver stocks outpacing silver.  big money buys stocks first then the metal.  i see big bases built waiting for supply to be chewed up

i find this perspective interesting https://thedailygold...ial-10-baggers/

meanwhile cbs keep buying gold   eastern europe joins the fray in a significant way. you think these guys dont trust other cbs ? nah

I don't know why people fear consolidations - for me it is always a time to sort the winners from the losers (or the big winners from the market performers in a BULL run) - the winners ALWAYS seem to overperform on the downside (lose less) during corrections and when the turn-up comes and the next impulse move begins - they lead - PERIOD.

15.80 on SLV now the key pivot after the floor recapture this AM...as long as 15.90 taken out before 15.80, bulls have the ball back now...

I love floor recaptures...they often mark final pivot bottoms...we should find out very soon if this one does.....

agree , i am weeding . and taking some new stakes.   41 years of doing this . miners lead up and miners lead down.   big money buys miners first.  i think we are seeing money enter the sector. @ some point takeovers  become front and center and generate excitement in the sector its why i listened to those pod casts.  turning over stones i dont know about.   correction is always possible

now european banks cannot enter the repo space till next year.   hmmm. move along. nothing to see here.  it all looks so perfect

bottom line the miners are way undervalued. they are at valuations when gold was in the 700s

so they have lots of room before they hit valuations for the present price of the metals

the economy has been in disinflation/deflation. miners squandered resources. BUTT over the last years of bear market

they have become lean, efficient, and economical setting the stage for the present environment. gold =money

but right now the miners are the best value investment on the planet. soon it will be commodities.  as inflation peers up.

if you have been here awhile you know like everyone else i have my moments of eating crow. its in the runs that the money is made

and hopefully pulled out.  we are entering a run in the big picture.

its time to find miners that will be 10 baggers. i had a few last leg. and i think i will have some this leg. you never know but

it happens

dharma

the safest place to buy is a higher low.  which will happen soon. if in fact we bottomed.

Will the wedge break up or down?
