It's technical, the news will show up later..

Not disputing that all action is technical in nature.  However, the point of my post was regarding the 1 minute 2k Emini candle 40 minutes before Asian open.  With the exception of Monday, these moves are unusual -usually they begin with a news item.   Such as BOJ comments/policy , President Xi announcing policy during national assembly etc.  Was hoping someone had a good link to overseas financial breaking-news aggregator.

Something my broker noted in past years that the technicals line up and then the news shows up to fit it.

If you believe your broker on that, it explains why your broker is richer than you.

Then your broker doesn't trade futures in his personal account, because news items push 1 minute price action in the globex session.  I've watched it happen 100s of times, in real time.   Im not talking about the end of the day news wrap-up from CNBC  where some reporter is explaining a negative day after the fact.  That is the type of news you are referring to, to which your example would apply and be correct.

First of all , it is arrogant for you to state my broker is richer than me, secondly that broker also follows cycles especially the Armstrong pi cycle model which the NYSE peaked in January one day before the Pi Cycle turn on Jan. 18. So, again the cycle date came and the technical resistance on the upper line of the ascending triangle since 2009 and then BOOM! Then the news of the virus that drove the crash started to grow. My oscillator also predicted the sell off in December.

Just to quote one more fact, Warren Buffet does not follow cycles, technicals, or any other method of trading except LONG TERM FUNDAMENTALS of stocks he invests money under his control. I do not know how rich you are or your broker is, but I am willing to bet my monthly social security check, that Buffet is far richer than you and and your broker and me combined.

Buffet was reported to have lost something like 50 billion dollars in the crash but he would have got some of that back by now I'm sure. Martin Armstrong has said that Buffet's style of investing will not work as well now as it used to because of the crisis the world is heading into.

Since no one is biting.  I will just share this piece:

I use this to track expected policy announcements,  so I can be aware of things that will affect currencies/commodities/equity futures.  I tend to reduce or close positions, near things that I consider to be risky political risks (central banker policy decisions are a form of political risk imho).  For example, an obvious one to watch out for would be ECB rate decisions or speeches.

I wish I had a better way of tracking unexpected events.  IE Trump making comments about China trade policy or Chinese President Xi doing the same.  Anyone tracking relevant geopolitical real time info?
