I read that even with a vaccine, Fauci says social distancing and masks "are here to stay"!!  Screw that in my view!

Well, we know incentives matter. If there's no crisis, they don't have any relevance outside of academia.

Who do you think identified the spike protein as a target and designed the vaccine?

A  physicist or a mathematician? swoon.gif

mathematicians and phisicists send the shuttle in the space........I think there's no race between the two categories. Maybe if some phisicists opened a book of medicine once in  a while, we would have already defeated many undefeated illnesses so far

opinions are opinions, but I have seen the worst di@@heads of my highschool, people unable to put in the right place the variables of a high school math problem, graduating in medicine with the highest score. So let me have some doubts about medicine in general. While I' m quite sure that you need some brain in order to manage the Equations of Maxwell for example.

That said I can' t count the wrong forecasts italian virologists have made over the past few months. People saying it was just a flu, people saying it was all over in May..............I' ve heard a full range of idiocies

With this I'd tend to agree, as medicine requires a different set lof "skills"...
But virology and vaccinology is experimental science
