Conversely, USO chart looks great, I'll post later, The first week in Aug., people usually dump oil futes as they can see the end of the summer driving season coming. The weak Dollar does help oil. I am having a hard time with the current valuation though. (JMHO)

I think the economy is producing all kinds of jobs. It's just that our governments are paying folks to not take them!

That is so true, why work if gov't pays you more for staying home after you Save on transportation to work, clothes for job, may be buying lunch outside and pay more income tax.

The jobs report has become almost useless now with the unemployment benefits farce still running. Its the weekly total of everybody on some form of benefits, 15.436 million in the latest dept of labor report. Normal used to be about 2 million back in Q1 2020. Its the butt scratcher nose picker economy now......

I heard one of the talking heads say he thought it was because HR departments can only process so many new jobs. Ridiculous!! Restaurants gas stations, retail, wwhat HR departments? Another thing, corporations arefine tuned machines, they know exactly how many people they need and how much they are willing to pay. They have learned how to maximize profits by reducing inputs (labor). Another thing, they made the aid so broad and sweeping that they included just about everybody, in ordinqary circumstances these people would get nothing. Also, a lot of people aren't coming back to the work place, especially women. If she can get a side hustle/self employment situation, instead of commuting to work, she will stay home, saving that expense and child care, and her quality of life will improve.
