If I partecipated you should put me in the list of contrarian indicators or in this case....forecasters. In the short term I tend to be random/slightly uncorrect. Luckily in the long term I' m good enough to be on the right side mostly when it matters.

In general, we (Fearless Forecasters) are not a fade at all.
This current market is hard since it's so aberrated by all the excess liquidity, but the sentiment still is helpful.
My read of the current Message Board Sentiment is that the dead even split in the opinion poll is at least a little bit Bearish. Uncertainty seems to often presage short-term weakness. The lack of Fully Long Bulls, I've found, more often implies chop. On a Friday with generally mixed sentiment, that would be my call.
Thanks for participating.

that's why I' m reluctant to partecipate. Because I want that feareless forecasters' polls remain useful. I' m bad enough in the short term to suggest to me to remain out of the polls for their health. Luckily I' m far better in the long and intermediate trends (a few months to one year). Strangely I' m so attracted by this site where most people, differently to me, are day traders and I have to say that I learned from them all......also from the market obvioulsy which is the ultimate teacher. Thank you Sir for your site. Probably without it, I wouldn' t have crossed the river Rubicon separating bad traders from the not so bad ones.

These polls should be run on Twitter to get maximum input and not just your local audience.
That might be very meaningful.
Takes a little work to promote it, but you have plenty of friends to help you with RTs

I'm already tracking two big polls on Twitter. Those folks ARE a fade.
This is a very different demographic.
