When crime is legalized, there will be no more crime!

Last week I got chewed out for entering Sam's thru the nearby exit doors!

But I just smiled and kept walking, knowing that I could walk out that same door with up to $999.99 worth of stolen products with no real problem or prosecution from a theft "misdemeanor"!

(In my defense, all I needed was a prescription from the pharmacy. The exit door is about 200 yards closer to the pharmacy than the entry doors.)

Roger, I am in Calif on the left coast surrounded by liberal thinkers. Out here they voted for prop 47 which essentially legalized retail theft and other crimes. If the store wants to press charges (Most don't. My bother in law worked for CVS and their policy is not to interfere with theft. IF an employees violates this policy, they will be terminated. That is a fact) the thief will get a misdemeanor ticket and let go. Some of these thieves turn around and commit the same act multiple times a day. There is no limit to how many times by law. To this day, the people I know out here still defend voting for prop 47. I am a stranger in a strange land.

Just last week the people of California also legalized murder as an amendment of their constitution by 67% (Prop 1).

Head shaking.

Recently, my wife watched as two thieves, arms loaded with all they could carry, run past a "security" guard at the door.

She asked the guard why he was even there, if wasn't to prevent theft.

He replied, "I ask myself that same question all the time."

So an honest person's purchase includes the cost of the theft.. and the "security" guards salary and benefits.

PS: "legalized murder" is sounding better all the time.  dry.png
