high inflation, an unwanted consequence or....

a designed one ? When they printed trillions, they perfectly knew what they were doing and they were perfectly aware of the inflation they would have caused, but inflation is good when you have a mountain of debts because it will erase them all.......

Printing has been going on for 15 years. But high inflation started only a year ago.

I believe it is due to supply side being down.

I vote for "a designed one".

Inflation has been their means of borrowing and then paying back the same amount in de-valued currency.

My $1 an hour dish washing job in the 1960's bought me several cars for $300 or less.

Today's $16 an hour? You gonna buy a car with that?
