Europeans have pushed the PANIC BUTTON on the Euro...

They are out here talking about UNLIMITED BOND BUYING

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/ecb-bond-tool-seen-having-040000033.html

This "new tool" is not new... Draggy introduced this idea in 2012 in a Euro crisis...

They are scared to death IMO.

And they should be.

Yes, but just think if you are in Europe... you watched the Euro depreciate 15% against the US$

Most of the World's debt is denominated in US$ - you must fork over 15% MORE Euros to have the pleasure of making payments.

A LARGE PERCENTAGE of the Global Commodity Trade is DENOMINATED in US$ - add another 15% to wholesale commodity prices for Europeans and what do you have?  It is a disaster... No wonder they are panicking...

So this sets up good opportunity for polls...

But I don't have an option for that on my screen.

Is it just that the US$ is STRONG?

or is it that the $YEN and EUR$ are WEAK?

I'll use Twitter instead.

Going parabolic?
Maybe.https://www.tradingv...ymbols/TVC-DXY/

I'm trying to figure out when and where to re-short the long bond.

I wouldnt IMO, yields have topped potentially for our lifetimes.

You are going to be a averaging down to 400 SPX, intrerest rates are going to 15%,
Fed funds rate to 8%.

LOL

This count is plotted against a log scale since the subject is a ratio, i.e., it contains a multiplication (USD x 1/YEN).

Not really - its actually a linear scale - wondering if anyone is paying attention...

Maybe a log plot is appropriate - aligning with the first step and pullback.  But it yields a higher terminal count.  Time will tell.
