I think a healthy body gives me a dirty mind.

Yes, feeling good is feeling frisky.

On a serious note - Obese, type 2 diabetic men have a HIGH incidence of impotence ... especially if their blood sugar has been uncontrolled for several years. And what causes this? TOO much food and the wrong kinds of food (and a few other minor details). But ask a man if food can affect his sex life and you'll probably get a blank stare ... or a look of bewilderment for asking such weird questions. B)

There is very good evidence that proper attention to weight loss, exercise and medication controls Type 2 Diabetes, and therefore minimizes long term negative effects, relating to eyes, circulation, heart, incidence of infection disases, etc, Is a diabetic who has taken the steps to improve their diabetes less likely to act out random gun violence compared with the uncontrolled diabetic? Is there clinical data to confirm this notion? I'd like a refecence.

Once again I am truly curious here. Point me to the refences.

More guns = less crime.

Mark....I commend you for that rational opinion. The gun control people can never
explain how the several MILLION guns ALREADY in the hands of LAWBREAKERS can
be controlled.

I would be FOR gun control if guns were not so overwhelmingly prevalent in USA.
But that time is far gone. Now the ONLY way to PREVENT massacers such as at VTI
is to encourage LAW ABIDING people to caryy concealed weapons.

In Israel after every teacher was required to get gun training and carry a gun, the
violence in school dropped to almost zero. Let us learn from actual experiences
instead of theories and wishful thinking.

And I think there is some validity to diet and mental illness. But that is an individual
responsibility and and I do not wish the govt or taxpayers play the role of mother.

I may be alone in thinking about this minor aspect of the case, but I can't help musing about the role of the media as enablers in the class warfare argument. His parting manifesto was laced with envy and social class propaganda...items I often encounter in the MSM. Were you surprised that he sent his video to NBC rather than Fox News?...not I.

I agree ... and believe that we are FAR from alone in thinking this. The media also CONTROLS what most people EAT ... what most people consider to be "normal" food is simply junk that is promoted by the media. Unplug from cultural conditioning and learn to be healthy, wealthy and wise. You can either let THEM control your behaviour, or you can think for yourself. And if you don't believe the media has played a huge role in our obesity epidemic then you're asleep at the wheel. STOP stimulating your palate with junk food - don't let food companies control you - be well.

Best to all,

C.C.
