George Soros Makes Massive Financial Investments On Fossil Fuels

The billionaire’s newest fossil fuel investment was $87 million in Alerian, MLP, a fund that solely invests in “energy infrastructure” consisting of pipelines, storage tanks and processing plants for crude oil and natural gas. He purchased eight million shares of the company.

His company’s second biggest energy investment was Halliburton, one of the world’s largest oil exploration and drilling companies. His firm purchased 842,000 shares valued at $30 million.

Soros not only invested in oil and natural gas companies, but also into coal. Soros tried to position himself as an enemy of coal, stating at the 2009 Copenhagen climate change summit, “There is no magic bullet for climate change, but there is a lethal bullet: coal.”

In the last quarter, however, he invested $4.7 million into Peabody Energy Corporation, the largest “pure play coal company” in the United States, according to the company’s website. Peabody sold 188 million tons of coal to electric utilities in 2016. The company operates 23 surface and underground mines in the United States and in Australia.

Trump-Russia Collusion: The New 'Climate Change'

Liberal MSNBC talking head Chris Hayes  speaks the truth: “Almost without exception[,] every single time we’ve covered [climate change] it’s been a palpable ratings killer. "

Gee, Chris, maybe you and your journalistic colleagues can draw a lesson from the failure of this media-foisted canard and apply it to the other canard you have been peddling: that Donald Trump and his campaign somehow “colluded” with the Russian government to throw the 2016 presidential election to Trump’s favor.

opinion-polling even by the liberal CBS News is showing that a majority of Americans -- by their count 53 percent to 44 percent -- now view the Mueller investigation into alleged Trump collusion with Russia as being politically motivated,

No one listens to the IPCC fearmongering anymore

The boys have cried wolf too many times

A decade ago, I would probably read their press release in its entirety

I am no longer reading their garbage – and neither does an overwhelming majority of the people. There's absolutely no true, useful, or original content in this stuff. Almost identical predictions have been proven incorrect hundreds of times.

Self-described "climate scientists" and their public faces such as Al Gore have been predicting the end of the world for 2000, 2009, 2010, 2015, and every other year. Jehovah's Witnesses can no longer compete in the number of these failed predictions of the end of the world. Nothing that would even remotely resemble their doomsday predictions has ever materialized.

Tom Steyer’s multimillion dollar renewable energy initiative goes down in flames

A renewable energy initiative was rejected by Arizona voters Tuesday, dealing a major blow to environmental activists who hoped to increase the state’s development of wind and solar resources.

Proposition 127, a renewable energy initiative in Arizona, lost handily Tuesday.

Despite millions of dollars in backing from liberal activist Tom Steyer, Proposition 127 lost at the ballot box on Election Day. The ballot proposal called for the state’s utility companies to acquire 50 percent of its electricity from renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, by 2030.

The people of Arizona we're not stupid. They may even be aware of how expensive
''Alternative'' energy is.

Germany has over a million people going without electricity simply because they can't afford it.

Germany, after Japan's nuclear meltdown, shut down all their reactors. They are now burning extremely dirty coal in those few power plants left running and trying to make up the difference with solar... And maybe... Wind. It ain't working.

First of all "dirty coal" can be used if scrubbers are installed in the stacks that reduces air pollution to minimal amounts. Next we wouldn't have oil if it were not for the Permian extinction - now that was major climate change - that caused the extinction of 70% of the species of plants and animals on the face of the earth - including foraminifera that died and produced the oil. Forams today convert CO 2 into oxygen - so we need CO2 for them to live and produce oxygen for us - most oxygen on earth comes from these organisms in the oceans. If Fukushima discharges kill them off kiss your butt goodby. This climate change crap is just that. Volcanos emit tons of CO2 every day. The sun controls our climate and we can't controll that one. The sun goes through cycles. Some cycles are short, and we can predict those, some cycles are eons long that we can only guess about.

Very well written!!

One other note... the US has the best reduction in pollution in the world in the last 20 years.

A few years ago, the head of the EU economic Commission... I don't remember her name... Let it slip that their efforts to hobble the US energy use was due to one thing and and one thing only... To create an economic Level Playing Field for Europe.

If these so-called ecologists we're really interested in doing things that work, they would support the implementation of existing Technologies that have been developed under grants from the bush era energy Department that have clean coal methods developed that use chemical processes to eliminate having to burn coal. These would result in virtually no emissions whatsoever.

However, the so-called ecologist are not interested in anything that would not be all about eliminating fossil fuels. They just want to push a pipe dream based on utopian ideas that makes them feel better, even though they really don't work on a massive scale.

Protesters cripple France over Macron global warming taxes

President Macron’s fuel tax rises caused chaos across France. The “yellow vest” demonstrators — named after the hi-vis jackets they have adopted as their emblem — promised to continue the disruption over the coming days and weeks.

Their warning raised the pressure on Mr Macron, who has swatted aside unions opposed to his reforms but is struggling to contain the rebellion that has crippled French highways. He has been criticised for failing to foresee that his efforts to counter President Trump by putting the environment at the heart of his agenda would so exacerbate anger in provincial France

At last, a people’s revolt against the tyranny of environmentalism. Paris is burning.    https://blogs.specta...-gilets-jaunes/

This is unprecedented. We are witnessing perhaps the first mass uprising against eco-elitism and we should welcome it with open arms to the broader populist revolt that has been sweeping Europe for a few years now.

For years we have lived in a climate of ‘You can’t say that’. You can’t criticise mass immigration — that’s xenophobia. You can’t oppose the EU — that’s Europhobia. You can’t raise concerns about radical Islam — that’s Islamophobia. You can’t agitate against climate-change policy — that’s climate-change denialism, on a par with Holocaust denialism.

And yet now, in this populist moment, people are daring to say precisely these things.

President Trump: California has been forced to cancel the massive bullet train project after having spent and wasted many billions of dollars. They owe the Federal Government three and a half billion dollars. We want that money back now. Whole project is a “green” disaster!
