13th Sep, 'Friday the 13th', is also Mid-autumn festival in Asia, end of the harvesting season. Also commonly known among younger crowd as 'moon cake day', savor with tea while admiring the full moon.

Looking for a top.

My playbook is a low near end of sep, MOMO up move in Oct. Some kind of trade war truce.

V long term, I see earthquake in Asia politics. Demise of KMT in Taiwan, rise of new party, creation of a Chinese federation. A free trade zone comprising of greater China, Japan and a new Korea. It will be a trader's wet dream.

There will be a big fight no doubt about it. Island strategy versus ocean strategy.

Don't be deluded, it is never about democracy or religion. Only interests matters.

I see break out upwards for gold tomorrow.

I cash out on sp long, not much room left to run, in my view. keeping gold short, estimating a retest of the lows today tomorrow. I mentioned a few days ago that there will be a few days of flat trading before gold bottoms out.

let's see how it goes tomorrow. I know very well I won't make it as a weathermen.

Thanks for sharing,

I have had a SLV position for a few days under water and broke my own rule and added to it today. I am shocked/concerned how the metals gave up all overnight strength.  But from what you said it was expected.  Why?

At this point, the Chinese Communist are more trustworthy than white house. Looking for some wishy washy statements next week.

And I certainly dun trust wall Street. Looking to them to bring it down to load it up.

I also think this wave up into year end is for long term holder to lighten up. It is a long accepted notion now that Asia and west are going for decoupling. After 400 years of an unfair relationship, it is time to breakup.

have to add that while I am holding gold short, this trade is a small position and has limited leverage. So even though I have been relatively accurate in trading gold, I have also been reducing exposure as I move towards my target. Which was my point last week that nobody who I knows keep large, open and leveraged positions through out all their trades. So even if one has a perfect record, it is very difficult generate theoretical billion dollar return in short time, without taking on excessive risks.

this is also what I alluded to when I said 'nobody trade targets'; i.e. don't become someone else's target. 'A fisherman always see another fisherman' Gordan Gecko
