Off topic. Best home office chair or gaming g chair

Looks very good! If you need a computer chair, this fits the mold.

I used to suffer from CHRONIC lower back pain from crappy chairs.

 

I got the Aeron Chair about 20 years ago or so, and the pain has never returned.

One of the key factors that differentiates the Aeron is the Mesh in the seating area.

They do have a new more expensive model now, but original has served me and other family members very well.

They can eventually wear out, but should last at decade or more under normal use. Some of our originals are still in use, while others have been repaired or replaced over the years.

 

Quite possibly the best investment I have ever made.

Totally agree. I was afraid to mention the Herman Miller Arron chair since it is so expensive but it is an excellent choice for people with bad backs like me who work all day in a home office. I donated a less expensive brand new Staples chair to Goodwill and got the Aeron. No back pain since. I thought it was overpriced hype but it is for real. Check Amazon for an Amazon Renewed chair to save some money.

I've seen the Aeron classics for <$300 in fine condition on CL.

But I've heard the newer model is worth it.

Wonder how long the Ergo's hold up.    Looks interesting, aside from the lemon color version.

The Aeron's are heavy/sturdy, and parts can be replaced.

I do recommend the lumbar addition, which mine came without to start with.

Decided to try my original choice. 30 day money back if I dont love it. I'll report back after I get it and use it a couple weeks.

Well, I've had the chair a few days. Not very hard to put together even for a somewhat disabled person. It's better than what I had but I'm not over the moon about it. Of course everthing today seems to have so much plastic but my last chair I bought at Sam's or Ofiice Depot or where it was does too but it last 10 years or more. the chair adjustment mechanism is all metal and very heavy. The armrest tops are solid plastic instead of a padded cusion/fabric type and they kinda slide around within a small range..... haven't figured out what the point of that is.  The headrest tilts and has some flexibility to it so it's ok too. It and the backrest part of the chair are a mesh material that will be cooler in the summer. The seat is firm enough and comfortable enough. The backrest reclines and locks into the position you put it in. If I were more healthy I would have visited several stores to try them out in person but for me that is quite a chore so I do alot of online shopping. At any if you are looking for one this chair is worthy of testing out if you have a store nearby that carries the autonomous brand.

I'm liking my chair better and better as I get used to it. I really need a head/neck support for my messed up body. so the Autonomous Ergo 2 chair is worth a try. I definitely won't be returning it. you would know they put a sale on right after I bought mine even they said they could not give any discount to a disabled person like me. so fart on them for that but I do think it's a good chair
