I think this is real news, but verify.

I hope its fake because  you can't actually stop the stock market price discovery because its electronic interconnected GLOBALLY 24/7.

Just because we shut the trading floor/electronic market here, would not stop the DAX, FTSE , NIKKEI and other 'betting markets' from reacting to the  action, and, as soon as

our market reopens it will just gap down to those levels. That is exactly what has been going on since the drop began. Perhaps if they

could coordinate a global shut down it might be possible, but, you couldn't do it for very long before it would have negative consequences to the real economy. It would also risk creating more panic ( their specialty it seems) and a 'run on the financial system' i.e. a giant move out of stock stocks/bonds and everything into cash for fear of illiquid assets if Govt shuts it down again.

Question everything, especially what you believe you know. The foundation of science is questioning the data, not trusting the data. I only trust fully falsified, non vested interest 'data', which is extremely rare in our world of paid framing narratives 'psy ops'. I got word from a pilot that domestic air travel will end tomorrow evening.  I’ve also gotten word from a member of law enforcement community that a national lockdown is imminent.  This might be the catalyst for the final plunge to s&p 2000 level.

We got lockdown word from the governor in NJ here, but in reading about it they seemed to indicate you would be allowed out for food and medicine and essential jobs, so my idea of lockdown is probably more complete than they mean. Also saw the neighborhood adults were doing yard work and kids playing with each other.

The soldiers on the front line are the last to know what the generals are planning.

In most cases, unless your source comes from an agency in D.C......

By lockdown; I mean just what you posted, allowed to get medicine, medical assistance and groceries, even walking your dog around the block.  Lockdown means ALL non essential commerce is closed. I’ve been hunkered down since Friday a week ago so I’m not affected. I have my own home gym so gym closures don’t affect me, I have months worth of prepper food and at last count 60 rolls of toilet paper.  We have been prepared for anything for a long time, we call our plan “beans, bullets & bandaids.”  Always have plenty of food, ammunition and first aid/prescription meds. I’m very unapologetic about being a preppier in every sense of the world.  I’m not one of those crazed anti-government types, I’m simply someone who looks at the world with a cynical eye and I’m married to a country girl.  Hank Williams Jr was right in the line to his famous song, “the country bot will survive.”
I do pity those who live in a crowded metropolitan area like NYC or Chicago.  I’m expecting civil unrest from all this.....

If food is disrupted I agree...
