Never been so active posting on TT......

all is closed here, except supermarkets and hospitals. Just one per family to the supermarket after filling a self certification module indicating where you are going to buy in case police stops you. There's not a car on the roads. Post nuclear war scenario. It' the only way to contain the infection and here in Veneto it's working, not in Lombardy though, our regional government is working much better. The only contacts we have are internet and phone calls. I' m largely making use of internet.

the measures adopted in Lombardy have not been so strict as they have been here......in past weeks they have allowed a soccer international match in Bergamo where a few thousands people have followed Atalanta Bergamo vs Valencia (a Spanish team.......look at the spread of the intfection in Spain now). Here measures have been stricter and stricter day by day, and now we' ve got to ''anything closed'' . We need to clean our region from this mess as soon as possible because we have tourism to defend as it is an important economic source besides industries and farms and agriculture
