Not disputing that all action is technical in nature. However, the point of my post was regarding the 1 minute 2k Emini candle 40 minutes before Asian open. With the exception of Monday, these moves are unusual -usually they begin with a news item. Such as BOJ comments/policy , President Xi announcing policy during national assembly etc. Was hoping someone had a good link to overseas financial breaking-news aggregator.

Nailed it! That is the news significant enough to rock Wall Street. Bolton's book is a nothing burger. However it is important to remember China is 10 times more densely populated along the big coastal cities than most locations in United States. Which makes covid-19 much easier to spread.
