forgive me, as you know I' m half a donkey with English, you are just saying the dow will literally explode higher.....right ?

and cuts both ways just means it makes a fool of both bulls and bears before exploding higher......right ?  The underperforming dow will be the outperformer......right ? That's what your code was telling us.....right ?

DJIA Price = SUM (Component stock prices) / Dow Divisor

The current divisor can be found in the Wall Street Journal; it is 0.14748071991788

So if each stock in the Dow was priced at $1, then 30/0.1474807. Dow would be 203

the dows divisor is but a microcosm  of what it was years ago.......cutting both ways the dows very small divisor is now considered  a multiplier and as can by seen by the volatility... the steep and fast declines will get bigger the higher the market goes    ....as can be seen the end results are predictable....the uglier the decline the bigger the rally to follow   with market bearish sentiment rising with price....being long for this once in a lifetime move will of course be for the minority

(1/.0.14748071991788) = 6.78

(Sum of Dow) *6.78 =DJIA
