Right on. Medical scientists and doctors know nothing----experts are others.

You know why medical scientists know nothing about covid-19?

Duh...simple common sense my friend....this is brand new and unique virus.

There is no knowledge base about it in medical journals or medical text books.

Last time I checked those medical scientists have zero divine powers. 

They need tests, data, and experience to develop knowledge base.

 

The bottom line is.....we overreacted. This virus has not killed even 1/2 of one percent of the population of any major country in the world  

EXACTLY. Barely ONE PERCENT of US population infected so far, and less than 0.05% Americans dead.

Most of the dead had 2 or more comorbidities and were going to perish soon regardless of covid-19. Most had one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel. 

And finally just my opinion...vaccine will be no more effective than the common cold (another corona virus) vaccine.

All those millions (including 80 year old me on a cruise in Feb-March) were exposed to covid-19, had few mild symptoms or no symptoms at all and can now avoid serious symptoms in 99% of cases.

Keep your mind sharply focused on this uncomfortable FACT:

Total deaths from covid-19 in United States are LESS THAN 0.05% of US population.

And if you further focus your mind on the fact that majority of those 0.05% were SICK with multiple very serious health problems ALREADY. Then it does take much IQ power to realize what a ridiculous OVER_REACTION has been to shut down the economy.

......apart from refugee children locked in cages, children at school during mass shootings and people with 2 or more comorbidities who are gonna croak anyway.

frankly, I remain shocked at the dissonance and lack of empathy by some during preventable tragedies like Covid.
 

Some have skills here as excellent traders, but I would Strongly decline their medical opinions as I have two co morbidities, and wish to live just a little longer. If people are going to die anyway, why do we have doctors?

Anyway, I thought it was pretty interesting, and thought some of you might as well.

If you have 2 comorbidities, follow example of my 66 year old wife with stage-4 cancer (lungs, brain, rib bones) who did not skip the cruise with me in Feb-March but instead is taking responsibility for her own survival, by never touching face with unwashed hands.

80 year old me is healthy as a race horse, and I also take responsibility for my own survival by never touching face with unwashed hands. If I get itchy eyes or nose, I use a clean tissue paper instead of my fingers.

The point you are missing sir, is that we do not wish you to croak any sooner than necessary. The whole point is shutting down the economy has caused more destruction of life and wealth than anything covid-19 can cause if every one behaved as responsible as we are. I do not expect my neighbors to protect me, or the bureaucrats in government to protect me. Because in reality neither can protect me. I protect myself. You can do the same.
