Massive Divergences in Europe Covid

Medical people with protection had a very low rate, even though they were very close working with virus patients. Reason prtocective  maskets  and other, at  at work and at home. Check this.

Here is your check on the effectiveness of typical masks being worn.

The masks are really nothing more than a way to make folks to feel more comfortable taking risks they would otherwise be perhaps not likely to take.

If there were a real deadly virus that affected everyone, folks would find out VERY fast just how ineffective they are.

The number of cases per 100k people is an important indicator for comparing States with different policies and safety measures.
 
NY was hit hard and very early before there were some of the more effective medicines and procedures to save lives. NY also is a hub for international travel and was infected from Europe, not China, as was most of this nation.

Governor Cuomo has stated  more than 20 times invasion was from  Europe, while Chines ban was on, no ban from Europe. Noone disputes that.

Those are very small numbers. 

Go to any of the 3 major airports near NYC or look up the numbers

They come all year round for business, students who study in USA, visit relatives, tourists before and other reasons. In winter many tourists come but i agree more in summer. I think they said 200000 to 300,000 came  to 3 NYC airports at time virus was starting.

And this was Cuomo in mid-Feb, when any lockdown that might have had a prayer of at least slowing (was not going to be stopped) things down would have had to have been implemented.

By late March, Epi curve had already peaked in that area, and the curve was going to come on down, lockdown or not, just as we have seen in so many other areas.

This is not a hard concept to understand, eh? But some seem to struggle with it an awful lot.
