I've been shorting it now since its been in the 60's.  Still holding my short from 64,000 profit stop 60,000 and sold my doge from 0.15 yesterday 0.38!  To much talk about it last week on all the financial stations.

Thats nothing. Bitcoins as a scam and natural enemy for the Fed and USD, will crash by 90%, just a matter of time ...........

Nope...too many traders, businesses and institutions are jumping on board because of its independence and safety...and the global politician's are the reason.

Heck...the US Treasury is now getting into the act with a planned coin pinned against the dollar.

Oh..there's also a coin already that moves with the price of gold now without the storage fees or commissions.

This new way of doing business is for real make no mistake about it.

Fib

Fib is correct.  Watch and buy Bitcoin Cash also.

Well it's gotta be a store of value because it's definitely not a digital currency. The min fee no matter what amount is about $20 worth (.0003) and that will make the transfer take about a day if you're lucky, regular fee is about $50-60 for 30mins - 1 hour, and if you want it quick, at least $100.  Don't see anyone buying tacos with those kind of fees.   I dunno how it has the highest market cap other than it was the first, but there are coins with much better use of the blockchain technology out there for actual use other than because it went up a lot over the last 10 years.

DOGE’s recent rally has raised price expectations for the rest of the year. According to the betting website us-bookies.com, oddsmakers now see a 17% probability of dogecoin rallying to $1 by the year-end, versus 2.9% at the start of the month.

Some posters on Twitter are referring to Tuesday, April 20, as “Dogeday.” The date, which is celebrated annually as an unofficial holiday by many cannabis smokers, is also associated with Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has tweeted favorably about dogecoin. Just last week, the billionaire entrepreneur tweeted an image, “Doge Barking at the Moon.”

“Many dogecoiners are predicting the coin to hit 69 cents on 4/20, you know, because the whole currency is a giant meme,” as Gizmodo Australia put it.

Not gonna make it today: $0.31  Down -22.67%

Not gonna lie, I wouldn't really mind a good crypto crash, especially before it becomes too ingrained in the economy. Half the 'investors' just have a cult-like mentality.  At least when you invest in a company you're investing in something that will make a real product.  Most of these cryptos have a few hours of coding behind them other than copying and pasting most of the blockchain related code. I think the doge creator said it was done in basically an afternoon. How the hell is that worth more than a utility company providing internet backbone for half the US?
