have you ever seen in your experience a divided stock market ?

I mean, if I look at the techs I see an established downtrend which can have bounces,  but is still far from over and could last for months. If I look at the banks I see a bottom to reach soon and new highs ahead. Has

 

anybody here ever experienced such a situation before ?

Many times before economic recessions...growth stocks suffer from the higher costs of debt where money then seeks out total return (multinational) value stocks.

 

In that vein...the oil sector is the last area to top out on the back of peak economic activity using the most amount of fuel.
