I am looking at a variety of signals and Rydex Ratio and other signals look like bearish positions from a month ago have been reduced which lessons the chances we have reached bottom, but regardless big movements in many of big players do indicate a change is coming and it looks more like a bullish side.   I was also happy new car sales increased by 12% month to month which if continues means car production is getting back to normal.

As the one of the very few on the board who actually gave a warning of a forming top in December, and then the actual kick off of the current bear market in January, it will be my pleasure to do so in my attempt to “pay it forward” to whoever might listen before my time runs out.

In 2007 I went short on Germany in the last trading week of the year. 2008 started with a bang that initiated the bear market that everybody knows. So what ?

Everyone needs to respect the interpretation of some technical indicators just like economists do on economic reports and unless a prediction or trade isn't put on here before the actual move or 30 seconds after its all just wind and unofficial.  So you do have a good point andr!!

Stop fighting you guys. It is better if we just post our own ideas/opinions/FF, and leave it at that.

Keep in mind stock market is not a science, it is a combination of many things. No one is going to be right all the time.

I like reading everyone's posts and then make my own decisions knowing full well there is always risk in stock trading.

And since you came here in 2008, there is absolutely no way anyone can verify that you did that.

Aside from that, a boy can cry wolf day after day as you've done for 14 years here and eventually be correct.

One thing you have learned is that you no longer believe that the DAX leads the US markets anymore...but it took you some 7 years for you to work that through.

I wholeheartedly disagree with this statement...it is science just as Newton's 3 Laws of Motion are...it happens every single day because market's basis is supply and demand.

Everyone needs to respect the interpretation of some technical indicators...

Not some...ALL...as the basis of every single indicator is based on the math created by the flow of investment capital moving in and out of the markets on a daily basis.

That said, those who do have their problems of interpretation do so because they don't either understand the indicator, don't follow its rules, or they have an emotional bias.

Most times, in this business, it's all three.
