I looked at VIX RSI it is the lowest in at least 5 years, FWIW.

I would expect that in a more persistent up trend. I'm thinking that the VIX is now a smart money indicator.

Last time it was close to this low was Mar 29 at RSI of 32.69, almost exactly the local market top. I expect an up swing at some point but they are having trouble today moving VIX lower so if it goes up what happens?

It's moving a lot on its own lately as I follow option prices closely and there has been a huge discrepancy between the Vix and actual option prices all year!!

What a chitshow this market is. Why is all this crap rallying into global recession? I bet this is the rally to GTFO. AMNZ is at $91 going into Xmas season.....you don't need a weather to tell which way the wind is blowing.

the story is always the same, repeated infinite times......they make a stressing job conditioning people the most they can that the market is on the verge of collapse and then they start pushing in the opposite direction

It's probably a ST sell.

Market rallies a few days until final week of November. A reversal down requires many more late LONGS into the market, more bullishness. Not there as yet.

But, GEOPOLITICAL EVENT(S) can negate all TA, FA etc

infact I'm planning to close my longs by then. But I don' t think the bear will be resumed. Just a correction, because to me the bear is over
