I'm going to shut up for some time because any bullish post from me is irritating the bulls beyond imagination and all I get is accusations of not posting anything of value here which thing makes me laugh, but given that I tend to respect whatever reaction I get from those who have different points of view to mine, here I am declaring that I will be a lurker for a while at least, reading posts, but avoiding direct partecipation. Good luck guys

BTW......tomorrow late afternoon, I've got a formidable tennis match so that I will think to that....

Avoid hitting into the net or out of the court. Patience is the key. Let the opponent make unforced errors.

I am talking about fighting the FED and market, but also a good strategy in tennis.

I will talk only about tennis. If tomorrow I put it only on phisical resistance, my opponent will beat me 6-0 6-0. Waiting for his errors would mean to remain on the court for three hours and eventually losing 6-0 6-0. The guy has less technical skills than me, but is far superior for phisical resistence. He plays well, hard hitting with quick serve and quick strokes moving his opponents as much as he can. He doesn't have however the resolutive strokes that I have, when I'm well trained. It will be a battle.....

Nice, I've got a game later today to but is doubles so not as exciting but great for enjoying beverages while you play.  Likely going to play Padel after that, also a fun game.  Ignore all the people coming down on you as I've said unless your posting live trades about what your doing everyone needs to just respect one another.  Myself and d are the only guys on here that actually post live trades so I actually don't get what their problem is in the first place.  I also don't post my option sells and what weighting is on them bullish or bearish either unless someone messages me as that's a different thing I do, but main point, everyone needs to respect and build each other up except for maybe some little jokes lol but this is "traders talk", not "your wrong talk"!!

a technical decscription of my opponent :

he plays five times per week, but sometimes more

....has got only 50 pulsations per minute

...has got three different serve solutions.....1) external slice with the ball that doesn' bounce more than 40 centimeters while pushing the opponent three meters off of the side line, 2) flat on central serve line, 3) flat to the body....all three types of service really quick. More or less seven or eight aces per match are guaranteed

.....plays regularly quick and close to side lines and to base line so that he hits them multiple times while rarely he goes outside

.....when attacked he plays a precise lob that regularly ends close to the base line.....but he also plays low and quick where he sees a hole in the opponent's side of the court

On the other side there's me with my one hour per week, higher pulsations, muscle problems not yet completely resolved, a phisical resistance which is a half of his own.

But I've got a very good arm as everyone at the club realized when I subscribed........sometimes it's enough, sometimes not.

Sounds like we would have fun destroying you on the court lol!!  In the summer I play around 4 times per week.  Btw its not about arm strength its about technique, note most women can serve as hard as the average man tennis player.

I played a tournment some years ago, that was open to players that had not a national ranking and players with C series national ranking. C series was divided into C4-C3-C2-C1 where the best group was C1, the worst C4. I was so lucky that I found in the first or second round, I don't remeber that but it was in the early rounds, the second seed of the tournment who was a C2. A phisical beast who was able to beat me only in the third set with all the public around our court watching as soon as the news that the second seed was down one set by an unknown. Me....the unknown, a vacant mine, used to train at that time two hours per week, one on Saturday the other one on Sunday with a friend of mine who had one tenth of my tennis skill and you know how important it is to play against people of your same level to keep your state of form. All of that should make you realize how good I was. Used to win all youth's games for tennis (there are also for athletics obviously) when I was fourteen, but busy with else when I was twenty. I wouldn't have reached however the levels that can guarantee you to live on tennis as a professional.

BY the way, to that asinine friend of mine who kept me far away from my best form, I taught how to hit the top spin single hand backhand and the exact forehand that makes the ball go at the fastest speed. Did he learn ? Never.
He played only with his arm and never understood that tennis is played not just by the arm, but also by the body's weight. The secret is to learn to transfer the body's weight to the ball and in order to achieve that you must be

well cohordinated in your movements. He is taller and he has a greater body mass than me, but his strokes are slower.........the secret is the thinking mind as always. To learn you have to think......

I see on TV players lose trying to hit difficult quick winner shots. Those are unforced errors.

I quit tennis after leaving college. I worked 65 hours a week so no time for sports.
After retiring at age 57, I began playing golf sereriously by joining a private country club. Playing 5 rounds of 18 every week dropped my handicap to single digits. I quit golf at age 75 after several rounds of breaking my age, which is rarely done. Now at age 83, I could probably break my age at will. May be join another private club if I get the urge. Public course golf is slow play, badly maintained greens & fairways. I had enough of that on weekend golf during my working years.

Since the boys can't trust banks or bonds, they could be playing an equity game similar to tennis - with fangs on one side, rut and dow on the other - and capital flying between them.  By alternately swinging these indexes between intermediate technical extremes they can minimize risk while making money to boot - all while wall street outsiders are frozen like deer in headlights watching one fed-induced crisis and bailout after another... and another...and another...
