......can I explain a little bit of italian politics here ? In September we will vote and a centre-right government will come out with a vast majority. The major leftist party in italy represents the strong powers that have always benefited from state helps, in various forms. The leftists are minority in the country, but those strong powers that control information have always conditioned the vote. Let's add that the justice system has always punched in the face the right parties and never the leftist ones (nice form of democracy......eh) you get to the situation that a minority can be in power even if it represents just a few. Leftists are servants of those powers that I said. And given that those powers need labour at zero cost, their leftist servants have allowed an absurd massive invasion from third world countries, mainly north africa, sri lanka etc. that like in France and in other European countries has literally changed the ethnic composition of italian society, which by itself has never been monolitic given the large north-south differences. Now these lovable leftists will get to pay for their disgusting internal politics aimed at defending the interests of those dirty powers behind them. Stock markets like stability and the fact that Draghi is out, doesn' t mean the end of the world. Infact the next elections, so the polls say, will bring to the parliament a massive centre right majority that might have the numbers to even change the constitution so that they could reform the justice system first of all ( if we could elect our judges it would not be bad.......eh). And hopefully that ''5 stars'' movement, that represented only pure protest and populism at the ninth degree, will be erased from the parliament with immense joy of myself and many others. Well maybe for the next few years, the powers that I said will have a hard time which is a great thing. I hope the next government starts also to cut the money that flows towards the Vatican and to the south, but maybe that would be too much. In conclusion I don' t see any crisis expanding in Europe from italy, because markets don' t like uncertainty and we will have a strong government that will be able to give nice lessons to some parasites if not to all of them. And the ''idiocy'' that the centre-right coalition is anti European is just pure......idiocy. They are not and they have never been. Only thing they said in the past was that Europe must be reformed because there must be redistribution of that invasion from third world countries inside the whole continent. We cannot accept anyone and keep them here.....

I think Italy holds record for abrupt changes in political leaders. Even UK recently changed their political leader.

pdx5.....what would you expect when a ''nation'' is so different inside itself to the point that speaking our own languages (someone call them dialects forgetting that also florentine that was taken as future national language was a dialect) we can' t understand each other ?  what would you expect considering that 150 years ago when ''this masterpiece of a nation'' was put together, those ''phenomenal scientists'' who did it, said '' now that italy is made we have to make the italians'' ? what would you expect if the south looks like a piece of another nation similar to some other nations standing on the eastern shores of the mediterranean sea, where the only recognized power is called mafia and where the only target is to live on state shoulders which means on the taxes paid by the north ? It's a miracle that italy has never imploded before so far, because with these premises, no country in the world can go on........in this context we have the vatican which is a reign ruling from the Alps to the southernmost parts, thanks to its links with politics and what remains of the strongest western communist party, directly financed by russia in the past. How can you imagine that such a thing may ever express a serious politics ? How can you imagine a serious politics, if you consider that rome has sent an army of southerner incompetent state employees to the North, first of all in the military where there are no northerners at all, to make sure that any independency idea remains just a dream ? All of that to make sure that the north goes on bringing on its shoulders with its work, central and southern italy, that are similar to us like a cat is similar to a dog, under any point of view.

and don' t let me talk about the justice system......better avoiding. Just think that the leftists that are minority, have always been able to neutralize every right wing government in charge thus blocking any reform of this ''carnival of southernalized public administration'' we have. But, despite of what newspapers are writing in italy and abroad, the party is close to the end for many of these ''nice and lovable powers''. We're currently just too many for them when we vote in september and we vote against them. And surely, most of them will say they have never beeen communist before when the wind changes.......it' s an italic habit. I can call it italic, because I' m a sub-alpine inhabitant and there's nothing in myself that feels italian

However....to end the argument, I understand that abroad it's difficult to understand why we have such a completely unstable politics. It's the result of the historic fragmentation of a geographical entity estending north-south for one thousand kilometers. Guess what might happen if one day the illegal immigrants are legalized and are given citizenship. A complete mess.......but we will not be alone in Europe in such a situation. France is far ahead of us on that route and probably Germany and England too. All of that thanks to our ''ruling elites'' of my d@@k.........sorry if I' m a bit rude, but I wasn' t educated at Eton

She is a jumper, Venetic like me. She has won the bronze medal at the World Championships of Atlethics. She made a jump of absolute value to win the bronze medal.......2.00 meters......personal record is 2.02 meters (the video doesn' t refer to it)

But do you know how many jumps we all Venetics have to do every day to feed that central-southern parts of italy that without us would be on their knees in one minute ? Time for them too to jump, like we do. Please September come quickly

.KITCO.COM

But there is also another fear brewing in the marketplace. John Hathaway, Portfolio Manager of Sprott Hathaway Special Situations Strategy, Chris Vecchio, senior market strategist at DailyFX.com and David Madden, market analyst at Equity Capital, told Kitco News in three separate interviews that a potential sovereign debt crisis is brewing in Europe.

Italy's political system was submerged into chaos after Prime Minister Mario Draghi resigned following the collapse of his national unity government.

The comments came after the European Central Bank surprised markets by raising interest rates by 50 basis points on Thursday. At the same time, the ECB announced the creation of Transmission Protection Instrument.

Basically, the ECB, as it tightens monetary policy, will continue to buy bonds from economically weaker nations through the TPI. This will keep all Europe bonds relatively in line and avoid any fragmentation risks.

Top of the list for this TPI is Italy. Just ahead of the ECB's monetary policy decision,
The European Union faces an unprecedented rise in inflation, political instability, geopolitical risks due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine and a recession; we can now add to the mix a potential sovereign debt crisis as the ECB continues to expand its balance sheet and raise interest rates.
