Pretty Sure I Have Covid For The 3rd Time

First time July 2021- Delta, very rough, hard to breathe, lost 15 pounds, sick for a month, every symptom imaginable.

Second time December 2021- Omicron, basically a head cold for a week, general sick feeling.

Third time? (just got back from traveling and meetings in Charlotte. NC) July 2022- New Omicron variant, sore throat, general sick feeling, dry cough. Slightly different symptoms than other Omicron. I am on day 3. Seems a little better today.

I am not sure where you get your information but natural immunity is better protection than vaccine induced immunity.

i don't know if you can still get the free tests from the Gov... that way you will know. Get well. Your are ahead of me with 3 times.

I feel better today, honestly Covid has turned into cold like symptoms.

 

Makes me wonder about those people driving alone in a car with masks on.

I am going by my personal experience and that of other 6 close members of my family.

My wife and me and our 2 daughters and their husbands did many cruises together since September 2021.

All of us have been fully vaxxed. None of us came down with covid symptoms. 

And one of my daughter loves travel, she has been to Mexico, LA, Florida, NH, and all over WA state in recent months.

She writes articles for restaurant reviews, and gets lots of free restaurant meals and free hotel stays. 

Point is we all have not been hiding in basement. 

So why none of us caught the covid bug? Where did the immunity come from??

Anecdotally The people that I know that have been the sickest from Covid recently is people that have never gotten Covid regardless of vaccination.

My Mom is fully vaxxed and got Covid the same time I did in December. It was her first time, my second. She got much, much sicker than I did. She had a fever for 9 days, I had one for a half day. She lost 10-15 pounds, I was eating all throughout. She was out for weeks, I lost no time at work. 

 

One of my employees caught Covid a few weeks from someone who passed away, pretty sure the person who passed away was fully vaxxed and it was his first time.
