Elon Musk says that the United States will default on its debt. The question for him is when this default will occur and not whether it will.
The projected date for the default came closer last Tuesday. The income tax revenues seem to be worse than expected. According to Goldman Sachs analysts, the fateful day would be in early June rather than in early August.

We should get involved in more foreign wars. So what if we go broke, at least we can show Russia our military is better.
As for going default on debt, FED does not even need paper and ink to print money. A few clicks of mouse, and Trillions can be added on its balance sheet. Nah, there will be no default. Only the dollar will sink and inflation will get badder. I mean worse.

We won't default unless its another PLANNED 'crises' that's for sure. I actually have said for long while we will sort of default as planned event, but I don't see the signs for it yet. As PDX points out they can
always delay it with pressing a few buttons to cut that off now. I believe to get a default there has to be run on the dollar/wholesale selling of USD denominated assets ..but I don't see it currently. However, I would also say, that
it's likely to be an 'event' i.e. very time compressed - but there would be signs in credit markets and elsewhere ahead of it ..not seeing that myself here ...I still think the 'real damage' is a long way off,
maybe toward 2028/2030 ..it's impossible to predict though we must all just be aware of the growing RISKs and plan accordingly...my mindset is we are in a period where capital preservation is the focus
not 'risk on' trades in stocks...the risk/reward is just not good.

If he really wants to protect the $ he needs to offer seats on the rocket to central banksters. :-)

Haha will there be video taken during the flight and will the video survive the explosion? Black boxes in aircraft usually survive everything.
