With market is up about 2%, I hope there wont be any further crying about banks this weekend, so that we can crash on Monday freely

Updates This Week: PayPal, Disney, Airbnb and More
This week features earnings from PayPal Holdings, Airbnb, and Walt Disney among other reports. The economic highlight will come Wednesday, when the Bureau of Labor Statistics releases the consumer price index for April.

Economists forecast a 5% increase in the CPI for the month, matching the March gain. The core CPI, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, is expected to rise 5.4%, slightly less than previously. Both indexes are well below their peaks from last year.
Disney reports second-quarter fiscal-2023 results on Wednesday. Analysts expect earnings per share of 95 cents on revenue of $21.8 billion, including $14.1 billion from media and entertainment. The companys battle with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis over a tax district continues with a lawsuit and countersuit filed.
PayPal reports today after the closing bell. Analysts expect the payments firm to report EPS of $1.10 on revenue of nearly $7 billion. Active accounts are seen rising to 437.7 million, while total payment volume is expected to dip to $344.8 billion from the fourth quarter.
Airbnb will report Tuesday. Analysts expect EPS of 21 cents on revenue of $1.79 billion. Gross booking value for the hosting and experiences site is expected to be $20.1 billion, up from the fourth quarter and last years first quarter.
Whats Next: The University of Michigan releases its consumer sentiment index for May on Friday. Economists forecast a dour 62.6 reading, about one point lower than in April, as inflation expectations remain high.

Markets going nowhere fast overnight and this morning so I'm still holding my 4150 short as I notice bonds creaping up once again, volatility also getting a bit low.  One interesting thing is that call options aren't overpriced right now but puts are dying so guess we'll have to see how the day goes.  Seems the only time the market moves lately is when important data comes out and even that is getting smaller and smaller as we move into summer trading!  Should be another fun week of trading I'm sure but at these levels I think its better to be on the short side than long at the moment and at these levels easier to add to this overpriced market!!!

Bought on the rumor - Friday's big gains likely due to a rumor circulating on the Street that short selling bank stocks may be banned, and so short sellers likely went covered.  However, so far no short selling bans materialized .....................

No that's crazy talk I have it from a reliable source that it was up because the WHO cancelled the covid emergency bahaha!!!!
