It's almost like the stock market is afraid to go up from here and Gold is afraid to go down from here because the market may come down. So they both bounce around. But gold clearly hasn't broken out of it's downtrend yet.

Maybe they all go down? I can see how gold can rise if the punchbowl is being taken away.

imo , bonds are the key, when interest rates rise its game on rates rose from the 79s -80=gold rose from 81-2k rates went down=gold went down secular bull market in bonds end, it will be game on for the metals dharma
