I've cross-posted this to Capital Stool
----
I'm currently unable to update monthlies, however, if we add 3months to this chart we'd see the last up figure to be +37, and, interestingly enough we'd see that our last monthly high (last month) would have read +36. Sharlynx charts had declared the 8 year cycle dead. Perhaps... but my own chart here would put us right on cue at 36 months up preceding a return to the longterm downtrend.
Just something to consider.

Shouldn't it inverse in bull period ?
It is not the doing that is difficult, but the knowing
It's the illiquidity, stupid !

I know what inversions are but I'm not sure what you're seeing that I'm not. If you can explain I'll do my best to answer. Tx,Shouldn't it inverse in bull period ?

If this is an uptrend it should be 63 up now like it has been 63 down in the pastI know what inversions are but I'm not sure what you're seeing that I'm not. If you can explain I'll do my best to answer. Tx,Shouldn't it inverse in bull period ?

Correct, that would be an inversion. We won't have any evidence of that until we at least make a new high relatively soon (within the normal down period). If this is an uptrend it should be 63 up now like it has been 63 down in the past

If you look from mid '85 to '88 you see a bull run similar to what we've just had. In the bigger picture they're just rallies in a huge downtrend, however.
Two things of encouragement this time around are the translated lows on the current cycle's double bottom and the fact that this cycle's up period has exceeded the price high of the previous cycle.
From a purely temporal perspective, however, nothing has changed.
