A healthy DISrespect for authority has always struck me as HEALTHY for society. Yet, now I see a cynicism that is pervasive. It isn't just in the USA, it is worldwide. This cynicism has morphed into paranoia. All authority is AGAINST us and we can't trust anything they do. This is quite worrying. When we can't trust those we elect, then anarchy seems the answer. Is that what we want.
