Don't Change the Channel
What is the first rule of following a trend? Respect the channel. And so I will.

You know it is always easier to say that after the fact when things are obvious, but infact
the best time to respect the channel is when the channel looks less like a channel.
The time to be cautious is when the channel lines have become obvious and u think ya got it licked.

Hi Dev,
You mean when the channel looks like this and we have retested the HUI highs? :0)
I know where my stops are on recent positions. The channel bottom. No one even mentions the possibility of a retest on the HUI. That is why I think it will happen. After that? Who knows. If you can predict what oil is going to do on a weekly basis, you probably have the ST answer for gold as well.
cheers,
john
