Whenever the Rand decides to put in a top, S.A. miners should outperform. We're close. The falling price of gold in Rand has been killing these companies in the last year. Lots of talk on closing mines etc.

Inversely, the price of gold has probably bottomed in Rand.

I reentered HMY again today at the lows. Large blocks going through. Also own RANGY and DROOY.

gold rand price just needs a bit more oomph to break out.. the rand chart itself is a spitting image of the USD dollar topping pattern good chart...I think it narrows down which golds to add to

Hi Tom, It looks like the Rand is making one more thrust up. Upside is limited if the negative divergence holds here. cheers, john
