fwiw, below is a monthly chart of the spx with my interpretation of the interplay between Benner's Fibbonocci Cycle and Armstrong's 8.6-year Cycle:

I have studied/research these 2 cycles well going back to 1871. I personally concluded they are OK cycles but not "great" cycles. I am attaching part of my spreadsheet for those who want to look/research this issue better.
