We had an EWS (early warning sell) signal on SPX-only at today's close. Of course that was before the GOOG news which is now pressing NAZ pretty hard, too....

Don, thanks for the update.

This whole setup reminds me of September into October 2005 from the EW perspective, I hope you don't mind me marking up your chart since I've just noticed on your chart the similarity of the Macd and CCI setup.

BTW - As soon as a pattern deviates on a turning point, I throw it out.
** this also confirms good logic to a stop for shorts just above the recent highs of two days ago.

Though the EW count I have was not infleunced by this pattern similarity, its interesting they would have similar results....I showed it on the Q's...which is slightly different.

Question everything, especially what you believe you know. The foundation of science is questioning the data, not trusting the data. I only trust fully falsified, non vested interest 'data', which is extremely rare in our world of paid framing narratives 'psy ops'. No, please do "Mark" them up anytime!! ;)

Thanks for all of that Mark. Yes, I look for chart paralles also- the most recent one being the parallel between the Early December top followed by a move to new lows by end of Dec, then sharp New year rally, followed by failure --- in both 2002/3 and 2005/6. Amazing parallel there too.

And you noticed, I'm sure, that I labelled the Sept "buy signal" false, and have been looking for this one to parallel that sequence, which as you point out, it seems to be doing. And yes I see that you noted the failure of CCI and MACD histogram to have immediate follow thru in both cases.

It'll be interesting tomarrow, for sure! Gotta head out for the dentist, of all things! :sweatingbullets:

Best, D

Er, can we hand out humor citations as 'elite' members?...I'll let that one go with a warning :P

I did notice the false 'buy' and your similar expectation this time...but I'm beginning to worry that as the so called 'elite' members we are all bearish...perhaps we are going to turn into ultimate 'elite' contrarian creation

Ooooh..nasty business...hope you aren't suffering....luckily you only have to type to be coherant here, or incoherant in my case.
