There has been some talk about the Tran has peaked and the Uti has fallen and the Dow is about to collapse. The purpose of this chart is not to agree or disagree with any of the statements, but to show some "distance" relationship between the indexes. Using the 8ema crossing the 34ema "ratio" line as it moves around the center line (1.0) a visual of the strength can be seen. The distance above or below the line indicates the comparative strength with each other.
Notice how close the SPX & DOW are to each other.
