Could you scan high yielding stocks paying dividends on monthly basis?

Sorry, my set up wont do that. As a general rule, Trusts pay monthly, but some quarterly (FDG).
I worry about the pay/out ratio more than anything, and that varies each earnings report.
Once pay/out ratio exceeds 1.0, I get very careful and watch their charts close. Price action will tell you more than a P&L will and faster.
