It was suggested that Traders-Talk have a searchable area for terms frequently (or obscurely) used in trading and investing.

That's what this is intended to be, and we need your input, much like the real wikipedia but narrower in scope and focusing only on terms used for investing.

So please tell us the terms, the abbreviations, the nicknames, the ideas that you use and what they mean to you.

Eventually this forum may be placed within the Investor's University, but for now, let's see how things go.

Here's how it will (theoretically) work:
  • Each topic is to focus on ONE particular term, and replies to that topic are to add additional information or commentary regarding that specific topic, or to make suggestions or potential corrections.
  • The topic title of the post should be only the term/word/phrase you are defining.
  • Please try to spell the terms correctly, as members will need to be able to search for the term.
  • Links to reference materials or other defining terms would be appreciated
OK...let's get to it. ;)

Searching for a term? Scroll to the bottom of this page and enter your search term in the search box.
Enter Keywords ->then click [Search Topic]
