Ever wonder WHO makes up names such as ADHD, ADD, IBS, PCOD, COPD, GERD, PVD and a whole slew of other ridiculous labels? There have been more made up diseases and labels presented in the past 5 years than in the 100 years prior to 1965. And the list continues to GROW AND GROW.

Ever wonder WHY there are so many new disorders?

Create the need ... to provide the "answer."

Everyone wants a new label for their problem ... "tell me doctor, WHAT do I have?"

Such a relief to at least KNOW.

Of course the answer is always a new drug or a new procedure ..... ka ching, ka ching, ka ching.

Total hog wash.

Considering that we do not allow abuse or attacks on others here at Traders-Talk, there's no reason we should permit an attack on entire industries as well as those who make a living in them, some of whom frequent this board and offer productive content.
