This would be funny, if it were not actually TRUE. I had a 670 pound patient yesterday ... needless to say, he is too heavy to do just about anything (except sleep) and listen to the drone of TV ads for pharmaceuticals and fast food (the irony is laughable, if it were not such a sad state of affairs). This man cannot wipe himself, turn over, or even reach more than two feet to grab something. He cannot stand, sit on a normal chair, lie in a normal bed or even pee by himself. His sweating skin folds are so infected with pus and boils that he needs silvadine "foil" to lie between all that dark, wet, and literally "bug" ridden space. He also had, what the doctors call, a "man-gina" ... a penis that is so retracted between skin folds, that he appears to be more of a woman than a man. Okay, enough happy Sunday conversation.
