Years ago, I attended an obesity conference in Melbourne, Australia. I remember an endocrinologist (MD) who said "Everyone is a little bit right." (referring to dietary and behaviour modification approaches). His remark stayed with me, and as the years go by, it makes more and more sense. There is no ONE right answer. There are so many small details that can make an enormous difference. At the moment I've returned to studying the role that anxiety plays in weight management. Am beginning to believe that when people are taught HOW to fully let go of anxiety ... in other words, being able to connect, in a peaceful way, to the moments of each day ... then they naturally move toward better health. There is no struggle or excessive TRYING involved. As the old beatle song says, "Let it be" ... let go ... surrender. this - EASE contributes enormously to disease. Long and vital life to all, C.C.
