fcx is not a pure gold play but i like the chart a lot. the stock moved from 35 to about 45 then its pulled back in an abc about 4 points to the 200 period ma on the hourly chart. now it has bounced off of that. bottom line a break above 44 means the stock is going to minimn 53 to 55 range imho. MSS do u have any thoughts on copper here thanks gman

I am not able to post to the gold poll...forgot to enable that feature. So thanks to all that voted and if there isn't an option for you just check that you're waiting for someone else to tell you what to do....that someone could be the market if choose. I am really curious as to how many people view here. 21 so far..... thanks Scott

gannman, I've been studying FCX since the weekend and I like it too, but I want it to hold today's low. Seems to keep building on an inverse H&S and as you say, it looks like a buy just above 44. I'm not crazy about copper's chart, though it did let us know today it's still alive, but if Gold can make a move next week that might give FCX the push it needs.

Not yet. Hope to have something this weekend that I will bet on, maybe this afternoon. Got called out all day yesterday. As a note am long FCX & PD in several accounts, will add more FCX if charts look good.
