study charts. each market has its own qualities. study. study crucial turning points. dont hesitate to read successful traders. see if you can understand why they do what they do. what their thinking is. john paulson has made a 4billion dollar bet on gold. see why? study the macro trends. few are gifted traders. about the best i have seen is kwave rider. anyway , based on your personality and your make up , find your niche. play to your strengths. be aware of your weakness. dont keep making the same mistakes over and over. watch your emotions and thoughts. they will reveal alot. good luck. its a skill that takes time to develop. learn money management.

should read it is below the 200day ma, and before it popped , it had daily rsi divergences. which is something i like to buy on . i finished my buying below 18

Dharma, Have you heard of the book 'How to make money in stocks, a winning system in good times and bad' by William O'neill. I had this recommended to me by someone that is also fairly new to investing. TIA
