Nice trading, as usual. Trndline looks to be around 1180-81 cash-and I suspect we may need to bust it by a couple to confirm a "Breakout in progress" for many. I had to lay real low this round,. Wanted to short, but would not do because of the breadth I saw, including today. Instead, I bought a handfull of calls in NFLX and FSLR(two of my biggest winners shorting the last couple weeks-but I was comfortable because I feel like "I know them"). No doubt out of my calls on a pop tomorrow-and if I get a signal from the breadth, I'll buy puts-if not, I'll abstain this time-due to the oversold condition vanishing, and the open 10 on the arms getting blasted the last 3 days. Good fortune to you, and congrats.

NAV, If your daily goes to a buy soon here, how will that affect your hourly system decisions ?

It has no effect on my trading decisions as to what the higher timeframe does. I trade the hourly and all decisions will be solely made on signals from hourly.

Thanks. That's what I thought since this is a new system, though I think maybe in your old system you used the daily to look for hourly trades in
that direction only ?

Yes, i used to do that. Not any more. Multi-timeframe trading has many practical pitfalls. I will post about that one of these days.

Hourly trading takes a lot of attention. I reckon you will be the first to sign up for the corneal displays, implanted throat mike, and the cochlear implants then eh?

Things can change RAPIDLY in hourly trading. That last hour on Tuesday was one very good example.
