any ideas appreciated. of course you can put in a stop during the night on the e-mini, but i was wondering opinions on keeping e-mini trade open after day hours?

That's a cash and carry grocery store you trading in there, Bud.

how about scaling your position, after all Daytrade margins are a lot lower so your profit on assets invested goes down a lot when holding ON
also, there has been a lot of movements lately in the O session - more than the day session, so you should be sure you have an edge.
LW however uses first profitable open (ie hold ON) as a take profit stop for many of his setups.

Again as I say to a lot of folks here depends on the time frame your trading and where the odds are for that time frame. When in question Bag the profit or use our rule #6 in our blog...which is... If your sitting there thinking of the name your new boat your going to buy with profits.
