If it were pending, someone would know. And start selling. Check what markets were doing before 11 Sept. Cos some people knew.
So BS )

Maybe Japanese were informed as Nikkei went down almost 2% last night.

There was SEQUENTIALLY DECLINING VOLUME on the PULLBACK...

Not exactly a rush to the exits...

So far same old game, a bunch of central banks competing to scarf up discounted stock...

The way it works... nobody is going to sell until everybody has to sell...

This thing is juiced up beyond belief...

Cryptos are best instrument on that hysteria...

Meanwhile the gold bugs are capitulating... XAU new 2017 low close today... new 2017 low intraday as well...

Crash of 87 was mine. We would do well to not let those experiences cloud our future judgements, however.

Mark

I have still the Wall Street Journal issue from the next day.  The Dow chart on the back page was always a bar chart.  The place for the bar on the crash day is just a dot, where the Dow ended the day.  Very odd to see that.

Then everyone needs to be trained again as the training you got seems training for an earthquake.

Nikkei was up more than 300 points last night, so this may well be just a false alarm.

They're hoping the military exercise will result in a coup d'etat.  It remains to be seen what contingencies are planned for these forces when a coup occurs.
