Two NQ trades so far, not too much range, maybe it's time to take a few days off and come back energized after the holiday weekend.

Italy is defying the EU over public spending. But this time, the markets won’t come to Brussels’ aid. That’s going to be a big problem for the EU.

Is this the beginning of the end for bond markets?

“The slide and collapse in investment grade credit has begun”.

That was a pretty unequivocal tweet from Scott Minerd of Guggenheim Partners last week.

Minerd was referring to the slide in the value of General Electric’s bonds. The conglomerate has a whopping $115bn in debt, and has lined up asset sales worth as much as $40bn to pay it off.

It remains to be seen if GE can pull it off. But as Minerd notes, GE is far from the only troubled company out there.

If the market does not retest the SPX 2600 low after a triple whammy or quad whammy of bad news then it's rally big time until end of 2018:

This company went bust after the natural gas price spikes.... many others took heavy losses because they were playing the sell natural gas/buy crude trade, and stayed too long in it; it was a crowded trade, similar to the short volatility one in January.

be careful, the PPT can come in at SPX 2660 & lower, especially in thin markets.

I am leaning toward long NQ daytrades.....but will go short with extreme scalping and double stops.

See why I was leaning NQ long?

QQQ calls are already profitable!

Market is jittery so expect big swings intraday, 20 or 30 SPX points, 50 to 100 NQ points
