For people that don't have much money to start or to start over with, this is a good option.
I find it's just not reasonable to expect to keep a 2-4K account going on $50 per point leverage,
some people may be good enough at day trading to trade that and not lose but not many I don't think.
I find that options are just too erratic with the VIX, decay and built in premium to price that has to be factored in.
If you can chart the actual option then maybe it is not as bad, but I don't think many brokers offer that.
Anyway, the Micro E-minis would allow you to set a wide stop on a trade on a small account, can't do that with
$50 per point very well, and you can select more leverage if you want, just trade more contracts.
