What about the massive key reversal in Apple just a week or so ago? New high over that high today by 15-20 pts. Anything can happen.
Anything can always happen, AAPL making a new high under any conditions is hardly a surprise.
The problem today out here is all of those indices fell on VERY STRONG VOLUME.
One more thing - and that's what I saw in gold, oil and the currency crosses today and that is JITTER MODE.
This thing is starting to get unstable, it hasn't hit the equity futures just yet, but watch out.

Relative to the benchmark levels, we didn't get there.
So before we can decide that these indices can test the high.
We can't preclude another high volume day at a new low to cancel any local signals.
If volume dries up today and it can bounce, then odds are better for a retest.
If volume rolls in now on top of yesterday's decline, then you have quality to the downside.
